Heat Wave is STAB that hits multiple foes. If you do have Sunny Day Support, then use Solar Power. Tailwind / Protect / Focus Blast /Fire Pledgeīlaze should be the ability used if you don't have Sunny Day support. The sheer power is enough to demolish most things even dedicated to stoping it. Fire, Ground and Dragon gives perfect coverage in UU and solid cover in OU, and a single DD allows it to outspeed anything unscarfed in both tiers.
